HGFF Objectives

“To showcase films and videos of a myriad of genres including thrillers, comedies, documentaries, dramas, science fiction and animations, as well as media art and digital creative work. To engage communities in dialogue around filmmaking and visuality, sharing the creative experience of producers and directors from all over the globe with the archipelago. To inspire youth to participate in and understand the schematics of filmmaking and video.”

Program Information

The HGFF 2010 film offerings are organized into time blocks throughout Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Unless otherwise specified in the program, all screenings will take place in the Performance House at the Kaay Centre.
This year’s offerings again represent a diversity that will satisfy any interest.  Please arrive 30 minutes in advance of showings to help us keep the films rotating as efficiently as possible.  Films for kids under 12 year old must accompanied by a parent or supervisor.  Thank you.
